Frequently Asked Questions

Is this adapter compatible with older Callaway hybrid models like the Ai Smoke or Paradym?

No, this adapter is specific to the OptiFit 4 hosel generation used in the Callaway Quantum and Elyte hybrid lineups and will not fit older Callaway hybrid heads such as the Ai Smoke, Paradym, or Apex series, which use earlier OptiFit hosel variants with different cog geometry. Fitting the wrong adapter generation into a hosel will prevent proper seating and make loft adjustment impossible.

Will this Callaway OptiFit 4 hybrid adapter fit both Elyte and Quantum hybrids?

Yes. This OptiFit 4 hybrid shaft adapter is designed for compatible Callaway Elyte and Quantum hybrid models, including Elyte, Elyte X, Elyte Max Fast, Quantum Max, Quantum Max Fast, and Quantum Max OS hybrids. Always verify your club model before ordering to ensure compatibility

What's the difference between a .370 hybrid adapter and a .335 fairway wood adapter — can I use either shaft tip in my Callaway hybrid?

Callaway hybrid heads in the OptiFit 4 system are designed specifically for .370 parallel tip shafts, which have a larger tip diameter than the .335 tip shafts used in fairway woods and drivers. Using a .335 tip shaft in a .370 bore adapter will result in a loose, unreliable fit that no amount of epoxy can fully correct. Always confirm your replacement shaft is spec'd at .370 tip before purchasing. Most dedicated hybrid shafts from brands like Fujikura, UST, and Mitsubishi are manufactured in .370 to match this standard.

How many shaft adapters will I receive per order?

Each order quantity of 1 includes one (1) individual shaft adapter in the selected configuration. Product photos may show multiple adapters, installed examples, or different adapter options to illustrate compatibility and installation, but a quantity of one at checkout equals one adapter.

If you need adapters for multiple shafts or different club models, simply adjust the quantity at checkout or add each adapter configuration separately to your cart.

Is a screw provided with the shaft adapter?

Yes. Any screws and washers required for installation are included with the shaft adapter when applicable.
